The Officer Ricardo “Ricky” Galvez SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM was established by Gangs Out of Downey in 2015 after the tragic murder of Downey Police Officer Ricky Galvez.

Proceeds from our annual Ricky Galvez Golf Tournament, Annual Gala, donations from various organizations and sponsors help fund college scholarships presented to graduating high school seniors in Officer Galvez’s memory.

Gangs Out of Downey is a 501(c) (3) organization. All donations are tax deductible.
